This course explores both the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of energy management for businesses, with a strong focus on sustainability and safety across the entire value chain.
This course explores both the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of energy management for businesses, with a strong focus on sustainability and safety across the entire value chain. The programme is structured around six modules, each covering a different part of the value chain. It offers a dynamic mix of expert-led lectures, real-world industry use case studies, and company visits throughout Flanders.
This programme is tailored for graduates and professionals – such as energy managers, energy procurement managers, and facility managers - who wish to expand their expertise in different facets of energy management optimisation.
Typical participants possess a basic technical background, preferably at bachelor’s or master’s level in engineering or equivalent through experience.
All sessions will be in English, including lecture materials.
When?
The program runs over twelve days, with a mix of evening and afternoon sessions. (3 hours in total per session)
12 Thursdays from 9 October 2025 - 26 March 2026. (No class on Spring break an Christmas holidays)
- 6 classes on Technology Campus Odisee Ghent: 18:00-21:30 (incl. sandwich break)
Technology Campus Odisee Ghent: Gebroeders de Smetstraat 1, 9000 Ghent. - 6 company visits: 14:00 - 17:00
Industry visits to various locations across Flandres. Transportation is to be provided by yourself.
Cost?
The tuition fee is 2150 euro and includes course material and catering.
